Origianl Sound

In the fall of 2024, I was approached by Sadra Tehrani, the production designer for the feature film Original Sound, to create a series of hero graphics central to the film's storyline. I designed over twenty unique vinyl album covers, each representing fictional artists that exist within the world of Original Sound.

These hero graphics were instrumental in shaping the film’s visual identity and defining the tone of each character. Every detail was thoughtfully designed to reflect their personality, taste, and unique traits—drawing the audience deeper into the world of Original Sound.

Original Sound is an independent musical drama about a gifted young beatmaker who believes he’s found his big break—only to discover his track has been stolen by an established singer. The screenplay was adapted by Adam Seidel from his acclaimed 2019 Off-Broadway play, has garnered recognition from Playbill. The film stars Laura Marano, David Lambert, and Eric Stoltz, and is slated for release in April 2026.
